ETECH Lifetime Warranty Plan
The ETECH Lifetime Warranty Plan is separate from, and does not extend, the vehicle manufacturer’s warranty. The ETECH Plan will take effect only after the OEM warranty expires and if all work is performed by a professional repair facility. ETECH Automotive Chemicals will pay the deductible amount paid by you under any extended service contract purchased by you that covers such a claim. It is subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
ETECH Automotive Chemicals, through its Authorized Claims Administrator, agrees to repair or replace the following parts:
Automatic Transmission - Serviced by a professional repair facility using ETECH Transmission System Flush & Conditioner Kit (ET150) that includes the Transmission System Flush (ET104) and the Transmission System Conditioner (ET105).
Power Steering System - Serviced by a professional repair facility using ETECH Power Steering System Flush & Fluid/Conditioner Kit (ET153) that includes the Power Steering System Flush (ET120) and the Power Steering Fluid/Conditioner (ET121).
Cooling System - Serviced by a professional repair facility using ETECH Radiator System Flush & Conditioner Kit (ET151) that includes the Radiator System Flush (ET106) and the Radiator System Conditioner (ET107).
Gasoline Fuel System - Serviced by a professional repair facility using ETECH Fuel System Cleaner Kit (ET101) that includes the Fuel Induction & Injector Cleaner (ET198) and the Fuel System Tank Additive (ET100).
Engine System (gasoline and diesel) - Serviced by a professional repair facility using ETECH Engine System Flush (ET102) and/or ETECH Engine Oil Supplement (ET103). Crankcase capacity - up to 7.5 quarts.

Plan 1 (0-38,000 miles/0-61,155 kilometers initial service):
A professional repair facility must have performed the initial service(s) within 38,000 miles/61,155 kilometers, as shown on the odometer. The ETECH Plan will take effect 500 miles/800 kilometers after the first use of ETECH Automotive Chemicals. |

Plan 2 (38,001 miles-80,000 miles/61,156 -128,747 kilometers initial service):
A professional repair facility must have performed the initial service(s) between 38,001miles/61,156 kilometers and 80,000 miles/128,747 kilometers, as shown on the odometer. The ETECH Plan will take effect 500 miles/800 kilometers after the first use of ETECH Automotive Chemicals. |

The ETECH Plan for Automatic Transmission, Power Steering and Cooling Systems will be continued by the performance of service by a professional repair facility within 30,000 miles/50,000 kilometers of the previous service. One payable claim per service interval is permitted.
The ETECH Plan for Gasoline and Diesel Engine Systems will be continued by the performance of service by a professional repair facility within 6,000 miles/9,700 kilometers of the previous service. When you join the ETECH Lifetime Warranty Plan, your vehicle’s engine must be serviced only with the proper grade and weight of oil as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. Proper oil level must be maintained. Timing belt and air and oil filters must be replaced and emission control system maintained in accordance with vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations. One payable claim per service interval is permitted.
The ETECH Plan for Gasoline Fuel Systems will be continued by the performance of service by a professional repair facility within 12,000 miles/19,400 kilometers of the previous service. Additionally, one bottle of ET100 must be added to the fuel tank at 6,000 miles/9,700 kilometers. When you join the ETECH Lifetime Warranty Plan, your vehicle’s engine must be serviced only with the proper grade and weight of oil, as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. Timing belt and air and oil filters must be replaced and emission control system maintained in accordance with vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations. One payable claim per service interval is permitted.
All services listed above must be performed by a licensed, professional service center. You may not change your own oil. In the event of a claim, you must provide ETECH Automotive Chemicals with satisfactory evidence, that all of the required services were performed. (See section on Instructions for Claims and Repair). A professional repair facility must perform the services as directed per the instructions detailed by ETECH Automotive Chemicals and using the ETECH Automotive Chemicals for the correct system. A grace period of 500 miles/800 kilometers will be extended to stay within service interval compliance, including initial service.
ETECH PLAN COVERS LABOR & PARTS AS SPECIFIED
Payment of claims under the ETECH plan is limited to the labor time needed to make the repairs or to replace severely damaged parts as allocated by Motor or Mitchell Flat Rate Guide or other industry accepted flat rate guides, multiplied by the commercial repair shop’s posted hourly labor rate, plus the reasonable cost of replaced parts of like kind and quality at the administrator’s discretion. ETECH Automotive Chemicals reserves the right to supply all parts required to repair the vehicle.
The ETECH Plan covers only the lubricated parts contained within:
Automatic Transmission: Covers the transmission housing or case only when damaged by an internally lubricated part covered under the ETECH Plan. Items not covered are leaking transmission seals and gaskets; electrical component, such as solenoids. Proper fluids meeting vehicle manufacturer’s specifications must be used.
Power Steering: Covers only the power steering gear box or rack, and power steering pump. Items not covered are hoses, belts, brackets, seals and leaking gaskets.
Cooling System: Covers only the heater cores, water pump, freeze plugs, and radiator. Items not covered are hoses, clamps, thermostats and engine components.
Gasoline Fuel Systems: Covers only the oxygen sensors, PCV System and Injectors (Deposit-related malfunctions only).

*Timing belts and damage to engine parts due to broken timing belts are excluded.

ETECH PLAN – DESCRIPTION OF VEHICLES COVERED & EXCLUDED
There is NO coverage under the ETECH Plan if the vehicle odometer has been altered or has ceased to function. The ETECH Plan covers only legally registered passenger cars, vans, SUVS and pick-up trucks with a GVW of 9,500 pounds/4,300 kilograms or less. Motorcycles, RVs, and vehicles with more than two axles are excluded. Vehicles used for competitive purposes are excluded. This service excludes in-house maintenance/repair facilities. In the case of a lease vehicle, the lessee must be primarily obligated for repairs and maintenance. If covered vehicle is used for towing a trailer or other vehicle or object, the ETECH Plan is not in effect unless covered vehicle is equipped with factory-installed tow package. Vehicles equipped with Continuous Variable Transmissions (CVT) are excluded from transmission coverage. Any claims resulting from collision, fire, theft, vandalism, contamination of fluids, acts of God, misuse, abuse, negligence, damage caused by operation during component failure, lack of normal maintenance required by vehicle manufacturer renders the ETECH Plan null and void. Pre-existing conditions, damage to system components prior to the service where ETECH Automotive Chemicals were used are excluded and may be verified through independent parts analysis at the discretion of ETECH Automotive Chemicals. “Washed”, “Branded”, Salvage or Junk titled vehicles will not be covered. You must keep all receipts and repair orders for maintenance and services required by the ETECH Plan. Failure to furnish all necessary records will render the ETECH Plan null and void.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLAIMS & REPAIR
In the event of a claim, notify the ETECH Automotive Chemicals Claims Administrator, c/o ETECH Warranty Claims, prior to having any repairs made by calling 877.239.8266
You must provide the ETECH Claims Administrator with information from all of the following:
1. All service repair orders as of January 1, 2009, including the use of all applicable ETECH Automotive Chemicals showing compliance with the terms and conditions of the ETECH Plan for each chemical covered in Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Cooling System, Fuel Systems, and Engine System.
2. If necessary, all service repair orders showing compliance with the terms and conditions of previous protection plans or service warranties, (excluding OEM extended warranties) and proof of previous plan.
3. Lease agreement if vehicle is leased.
4. A complete statement of damage and estimated repair costs.
5. ETECH Automotive Chemicals reserves the right to supply all parts required to repair the vehicle.
ETECH PLAN – PAYMENT & REIMBURSEMENT (U.S. Dollars)
Plan 1
Automatic Transmission shall not exceed $2,000.
Power Steering shall not exceed $4,000.
Cooling System shall not exceed $4,000.
Engine or Fuel shall not exceed $4,000. |
Plan 2 Automatic Transmission shall not exceed $1,000.
Power Steering shall not exceed $2,000.
Cooling System shall not exceed $2,000.
Engine or Fuel shall not exceed $2,000. |

The ETECH Lifetime Warranty Plan is transferable if vehicle ownership changes. ETECH Automotive Chemicals is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages. It will apply only to authorized repairs made for vehicles operated in the United States of America, Puerto Rico or Canada. This document may not be modified.
Existing warranties pertaining to the same services that the ETECH Lifetime Warranty Plan covers, will be transferable and be classified per “Plan” based on when the original service was performed per vehicles mileage. Proper documentation showing that the existing plan has been followed per existing companies guidelines will need to be submitted if a claim is filed. The transfer of the existing plan to the ETECH Plan will be in effect when an ETECH service is performed with the qualified ETECH Automotive Chemicals products.
